Siri - Are you Real?

Siri is the newest thing on the iPhone 4s. When you ask, "who are you?" She replies: "just the humble virtual assistant". There is an open Tumblr blog that allows users to post screen shots of their Siri conversations. Here's a glimpse:

Gulp. It's Friday! Enjoy!

Gulp. The world's largest stop-motion animation shot on a Nokia N8. from Nokia HD on Vimeo.

The world’s largest stop-motion animation was recently created using the 12-megapixel cellphone camera on the Nokia N8.

Gulp is the name of the short film animation created by Sumo Science at UK animation agency Aardman.

Gulp was shot on 11 000 m2 of sand on Pendine beach in South Wales and tells the story of a fisherman getting trapped at sea.

 

It took an unusually large crew to bring this project off the ground. The sand had to be raked and smoothed countless times to create a seascape, as well as the inside of a whale’s bell.

The entire film was shot from a large crane above this scene on the beach. The final images were set run to run at 25 frames per second to create the final stop-motion effect.
