Acoustic Plants
Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:00AM I like the sound of that! I myself think plants might already be acoustic, i.e. in Mr Akiyama's words, "make sounds". And I'm not just talking about the Venus flytrap or Stevie Wonder's wackiness. I mean noise and music at frequencies we can't hear without techno-help. After all, don't they already talk with each other?

Nike: Air Reinvented - Air Max Engineered Mesh (video)
Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 9:00AM Back in 1987, Nike had an idea to replace the foam mid-sole in many of their silhouettes with air to increase comfort and ultimately, the shoes longevity. As usual, they were spot on and created a trend that will forever be monumental. But they didn’t stop there. Over the next two and a half decades Nikecontinued to make advancements in the Air Max model. The latest is chronicled in a new visual.
Engineered Mesh – a budding new innovation from Nike that’s as revolutionary as it is stylish. The visual entitled Air Reinvented – Air Max Engineered Mesh, shows classic silhouettes like the Air Max One, Air Max 90, Air Max 95 and Air Max 97 all being created and the time frame in which they dominated. The clip then goes on to see the shoes undergo the EM treatment showing their stunning new styles.
I love the phrase, "Taking the inside out, and the senses upside down". Not only is this a cool process that led them to the new Nike Air mesh technology, but it seems like a good phrase we can apply to things we do in 2013.
